Filamet™ can be debound and sintered in a kiln, making 100% metal, ceramic, or glass parts. A crucible is required to hold the part for this process.

👉 2000mL: Inside: 126x126x126mm / 5x5x5in. Outside: 151x151x139mm / 6x6x5.5in.
👉 2300mL:
Inside: 135x135x127mm / 5.3x5.3x5.0in. Outside: 170x170x140mm / 6.7x6.7x5.5in. This size comes with a lid and is made for The Virtual Foundry Sintering Kiln.

1482°C (2700°F)

Material Compatibility:
Bronze, Copper, H13 Tool Steel, Inconel 718, M300 Tool Steel, Stainless Steel 17-4, Stainless Steel 316L, Pyrex® (Borosilicate), Amaco 46-D.

Expected Lifespan:
15+ sintering cycles

How To Use:
⚠️ Before debinding or sintering for the first time, it is recommended to fire the empty crucible once. Ramp to 649°C (1200°F) over 4 hours and hold for 1 hour. Then your crucible is ready for use. More details here. ⚠️
Bury prints in an appropriate refractory then place the crucible in the kiln and start the program. Use the lid (or other covering) for the sintering cycle to help preserve Sintering Carbon. Full instructions can be found here.
